Cherished wife, loving mother and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, Katie Frances (Copeland) Vann, age 78, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Greenville, Texas with her family by her side. Born in Del Rio, Texas on May 16, 1940, Katie was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Fannie Copeland. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Louis Vann; children, Bill Vann and Karen Garland (Ken); grandchildren, William, Katie, Britney, Kris (Sara) and Kayla (Dakota); great-grandchildren, Katherine, Scarlett and Sierra; sisters, Kathy Reddin (Charles) and Lucille Keller (Dean); nieces, Jaime, Sabrina, Crystal, Brandy; nephew, Thomas, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Katie was a member of The Father’s House Church and loved horses, but her true passion in life was her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held at Meadowbrook Funeral Home on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 1:00-2:00pm.

Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 2:00pm. Interment at Smyrna Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.
