Ronald Dwight Scott, age 66, passed away at his home in Waskom, Texas on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Ron was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 13, 1952 to Edsel Ford and LaVon Brasfield Scott. He is preceded in death by his father, Edsel Ford Scott.

He is survived by his mother, LaVon Seymour; his daughters, Dawn Storm and her husband, Richard, Daphne Adams and Jennifer Scott; his brother, Randy Scott and his wife, Susie; his grandchildren, Allison Mosshart, Erin Fuller, Kayla Adams, Dacia Adams and Trystan Wiggins; his great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Barnes, Adysyn Turner, Jaxden and Jack, Jr.; his nieces, Lauran Spencer, Meredith Scott-Kaliki and Bethany Scott. Ron is also survived by many friends. He retired from General Motors after 20+ years.

While working for General Motors, he relocated to Waskom with his friend, Robert “Animal”. Ron loved OU football, the lake, camping, fishing, motorcycles and spending time at Hanny’s Bar with his friends. He was funny, always snorting when he laughed and gave the best, biggest, juicy kisses.

Ron’s life was well lived and he was well loved by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Meadowbrook Funeral Home.
