Obituary for Keith William “Pete” Miller Keith “Pete” William Miller, 76, of Battle Creek, Michigan, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Bronson Battle Creek. He was born on January 23, 1942, the son of Keith Albert Miller and Lila Marie (Cooper) Miller. Pete was a 1959 graduate of Marshall High School.

He was employed for 19 years at Eaton Manufacturing and then at A-1 Auto Glass for 8 Years, Barney’s Glass, Current Electric and at the Local IBEW #131. Pete is survived by his Two Sons, Mark Miller, Michael (Valerie) Miller; Daughter, Karen May; Grandchildren, Ondre’a, Allison, Danielle & Jimmy; Great Grandchildren, Blythe, Bellamy and Basil; Brother, Jon (Barb) Miller of Battle Creek, MI; Two Step-Sons, Edward (Katherine) Runyon, Bob Shook, both of Battle Creek, MI; Three Step-Daughters, Melissa (Timothy) Dunham of Climax, MI, Shannon (Lee) Warren of Coldwater, MI, Lori Shook of Battle Creek, MI; Step-Grandchildren, Alison, Joseph, Katy, Johnny & Tyler. He was preceded in death by his Father, Keith Albert Miller, Mother, Lila Marie Miller, Wife, Nancy Lee Miller, Sister, Linda Shepard.

Pete enjoyed fishing, bowling and golfing. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and Sons of the American Legion. In his younger days, Pete was big into DJ’ing for about 10 years.

Music was a large passion of Pete’s, and he had an impressive collection of 1950-1960’s music. After retirement, Pete volunteered to drive people that had been diagnosed with cancer to their appointments. Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Monday April 16, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held at Battle Creek First Church of the Nazarene, 12866 Beadle Lake Road, Battle Creek, MI, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, 10:30 am with Pastor Ryan Wolford officiating. Interment will take place in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to: Make A Wish Foundation or the Road To Recovery For Cancer Patients.
