Schroeder, 84 of Watertown, passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, March 23, 2019. He was born to Walter and Edna (Buss) Schroeder in Reedsburg on June 5, 1934. Ken attended school in Sauk and Rock counties.

He married Viorene Emery on June 19, 1956. The couple was blessed with seven children and made their home in the Sauk Prairie area, Black Earth and Verona. They moved to Lake Mills in 1974, where they lived for the next 39 years, until they moved to rural Watertown.

Kenneth was a farmer most of his life, milk hauler and worked at Creekwood Farms for 34 years. He retired at the age of 75. Ken was a hardworking man who loved to garden, go camping and hunting and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lake Mills. Ken is survived by his wife of 62 years, Viorene and children David (Diana), Susan (Robert), Darren (Tonya), Elizabeth (Andy) Williams, Timothy (Cindy) and Thomas (Mandee); daughter-in-law Kathy; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Jerry, his parents, a brother Roger (Floy) and a sister Audrey (Darrell) Blomgren.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 29 from 4-7 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1530 S. Main St., Lake Mills. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 30 at 11:30 a.m. Friends may call starting at 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in the St. Paul’s Ev.
