Kevin Corbett, 63, of Bristol, VA passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at Tennessee Valley Healthcare Nashville Campus. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Mae Snyder Saul. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Cold War Era as an Armored Tank Crewman, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.

He also served the citizens and City of Bristol, Virginia as a Police Officer from 1982 until retiring in 2006 as a Detective Lieutenant in the Criminal Investigation Division. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Bristol, VA. .

Kevin is survived by his two children, Allison and Shawn Corbett; five grandchildren; and sister, Jackie Collins and her loving family. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Bristol, VA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Father Chris Hess and Father Francis Musolooza officiating.

Military Honors and Entombment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum , Bristol, VA. Military honors will be provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6975 and the Virginia National Guard Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Anne Catholic School, 300 Euclid Ave.
