Tommy W. Carroll, Jr., age 65, of Bristol, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2019 in the Bristol Hospice House, Bristol, Tennessee. He was born in Holston, Virginia on August 2, 1953, a son of the late Tommy Carroll, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Garrett and a brother, Robert Carroll. Tommy lived most of his life in the Bristol area.

He worked for Rogers Trucking for several years. Tommy is survived by his wife, Brenda Carroll; daughters, Kelley Phelps and husband, Sean, Bobby Jo Owens and husband, Tim and Lisa Carroll; his mother, Dorothy Gilmer; step father, Luther “Bobby” Gilmer and wife, Mary; brothers, Jerry Carroll and Michael Gilmer and wife, Debby; sister, Yolanda Brewer and husband, Jack; step daughters, Kristy Lunsford and husband, Robert and Molly Hutton and husband, Aaron; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. No services are planned at this time.

A Celebration of Life Service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Bristol Hospice House, 1 Medical Park Boulevard, Bristol, TN 37620. Condolences for the family may be sent and viewed by visiting www.
