Obituary for Kyra Lynn Schall Kyra Lynn Schall, age 22 of Tyler, Texas, was called home early Monday morning, April 16, 2018. She was born June 7, 1995 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Lynn and Tarrie Schall. Kyra studied at Tyler Junior College before completing YWAM’s Discipleship Training School in late 2016.

She worked as a Guide at The Leadership Academy, a Montessori School in Tyler, where she inspired both students and staff with her great passion for adventure and discovery. She traveled often with family to various countries and held a special place in her heart for China. She hoped to one day return to China to help orphaned children realize their worth.

Kyra’s love and passion for Christ was evident in all that she did. She deeply impacted everyone around her with her infectious joy and love of life. She was generous with her time and affection, and exemplified God’s grace and mercy at every opportunity.

Those close to her called her “loving,” “selfless,” “dedicated,” “passionate,” “silly,” “adventurous,” “beautiful”. She is survived by her parents, Lynn and Tarrie Schall, sisters Danielle Chapman, Suzannah, Rebecca, and Mesha Schall, brothers Wes Chapman and Robert Schall, and her nieces and nephews: Jacob Schall, Haylie Giovanoni, Luke Schall, Sophia Chapman, Piper Chapman, and Jerald Schall. Kyra’s memorial service will be held at Grace Community Church, 3215 Old Jacksonville Highway, Tyler, TX 75701, on April 29, 2018 at 3:00 pm.

Her desire was to be celebrated – not mourned, attendees are invited to dress vibrantly in her honor.
