Laura Mai Cormany, 87, of Chambersburg, went to be with her Lord on June 16, 2018 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on December 12, 1930, in Fayetteville, PA to Raymond and Grace (Morgan ) Beachley. She was a member of St. Thomas United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school, was active with the United Methodist Women and directed the choir for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and three siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (wife of James) Owens of Fayetteville, PA, and Annette Cormany of Rohrersville, MD, as well as two grandchildren, Micah (husband of Amanda) Owens of New Franklin and Mara Owens of New York City and two great-grandchildren, Evan and Isabella. She is survived by her brother, Ronald Beachley of Chambersburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at St. Thomas United Methodist Church with Reverend Randy Zeiler officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
