Obituary for Leroy “Lee” F. Befford Leroy “Lee” F. Befford, 58, of Pittsfield MA, passed away on Friday June 8th at Berkshire Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Born in Palmer MA, August 9, 1959, the son of Leo F. Befford and Constance Houle Dubay he attended the local public schools in Ware, MA. He was also a graduate of the CDL School in Menands, NY.

At the age of 18, he joined the Job Corps and trained in Missoula, Montana. He was employed as a truck driver with various local companies including MEM Trucking and Pittsfield Sand and Gravel. He retired in 2016 due to health reasons.

He enjoyed all sports but was an avid fan of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. He is survived by his longtime companion, Sharon LeBarnes, two sons, Jeremy and Joshua Befford, his step daughter, Kaitlyn LeBarnes, two grandsons, the light of his life, Jeremy Befford Jr. and his sports buddy, Colby LeBarnes, and his sister and her husband, Joyce and Wayne Walker. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be on Friday, June 15, at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 with Rev.

William Furey, officiating. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 4:00 P.M.
