Obituary for Lester Elmer Robinette Robinette, Lester Elmer, age 79, of Xenia, passed away Friday, May 11th, 2018. Lester was born October 9th, 1938 to Ardena (Stewart) and Daniel Robinette. He was a retired truck driver for General Motors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Edith; and sisters, Imogene McPherson and Mary Ruth Osborne. Lester is survived by his daughters, Ardena Macy (Joe) of Troy, Tina Robinette of Xenia; son, Michael Cyphers of Xenia; grandchildren, Georgia Gilbert (Jimmy) of North Carolina, Jesse Macy of Troy, Dannielle LaBree (David) of Piqua; brother, Joe Robinette (Imogene) of Blackwater, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Lester loved to go camping in places like St. Mary’s, Virginia Beach, and Disney.
He also loved tinkering around the garage working on cars, lawnmowers and other small engines. Lester will also be remembered for his love of Bluegrass music. You are invited to Lester’s life celebration beginning with the visitation on Tuesday, May 15th from 6-8 pm at Fairview Primitive Baptist Church, 2353 Ferry Rd.
