Obituary for Robert “Bob” Lowell Moreland Moreland, Robert “Bob” Lowell, age 82, of Bellbrook, passed away Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at his home. Bob was born June 29th, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lydia ( Brady) and Matt Moreland. He served his country with honor in the U.S. Army.
Bob was a hard worker throughout his life, He worked for the United States Postal Service before retiring from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. After retiring, Bob owned and managed his own business, B&D Roofing and Siding. He was preceded in death by his his parents, son Lowell, his first wife Lois, and two sisters, Shirley and Dottie.
Bob is survived by his wife Lorene, son David Moreland of Xenia; 3 grandchildren Jeremy, Josh and Natasha; sisters, Sue and Jean; two step-children, Greg (Debbie) Brooks of Bellbrook, Sherri (Rob) Turner of Tipp City; and five step-grandchildren Amber, Alisa, Brittany, Matthew and Cindy. . Bob loved to travel, go boating and fishing.
He will be remembered for his luck with lottery tickets, skill in the stock market and interest in worldwide current events. You are invited to a Bob’s visitation on Tuesday, May 8th from 11:30 am unitil the time of the service at 1:00 pm at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn.
