Moeller, 83, Rosholt, SD, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, at her home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Lutheran Church, rural Rosholt, with Rev. Suzanne Benidt officiating.

Music will be provided by organist Lana Sand and vocalists Layne and Betsy Moeller. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, rural Rosholt. Pallbearers will be Jim Moeller, Jon Moeller, Kyle Feliciano, Greg Johnson, Ryan Jensen, Jim Arneson, Darcy Englund, and Larry Englund.

Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon one hour prior to the service at the church. Liddie Ladell was born July 20, 1934, to Cornelius Matthew and Nora Elizabeth (Lowrie) Pierce in Refugio, TX. She graduated from high school in Boling, TX.

She was employed at Prudential and Liberty Mutual Insurance in Houston and later did clerical work in New Jersey. On March 10, 1962, Liddie was united in marriage to Don Moeller in Houston, TX. In 1962, they moved to a farm south of Rosholt where Don farmed and Liddie was a housewife.

Don passed away June 13, 2015. Liddie was a member of St. Joseph Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She loved taking pictures, reading, and playing games with friends, along with attending basketball games and other local events.

She was a true supporter of the community. Liddie was also known for her famous mac and cheese dish and her lemon and Rice Krispies bars. Survivors include her son, Brad (Maria) Moeller of Watertown, SD; grandchildren, Korey Moeller of Jacksonville, FL, Connor (Kathy) Moeller of Norfolk, VA, Kyle Feliciano of Fort Collins, CO, and Vincent Feliciano of Oceanside, CA; sister, Mary (Ted) Dinklage of Conroe, TX; brother, Leonard Gay) Pierce of Houston, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Liddie was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Don Moeller; parents, Cornelius and Nora; sisters, Bernice Houchin, Martha Strouhal, and Joan Tiner; brothers, CM Pierce and Billy Pierce; and a niece Eleanor Mixon.
