NELSON, Linda I. (Silva), 95, of East Main St., passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Sunny View Nursing Home. Born October 30, 1922 in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Pacheco) Silva. Linda worked at Bradford Soap in West Warwick for 29 years, retiring as a Lead Lady.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosemarie Moxley of Cantonment, FL; a son, Richard Silva and his wife Gloria of East Greenwich; a sister, Agnes Brouillard of Coventry; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Valentino Silva as well as her siblings Joseph Silva, Rose Quintavalho and Mary D’Ambra. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Warwick.

Visiting hours and flowers respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, Coventry.
