Linda’s Obituary Rural Retreat, VA Linda Sue Duncan, age 72, passed away Thursday December 13, 2018 at her home in Rural Retreat, VA. She was born in Wytheville, VA to the late Lloyd Earl Farmer and Nancy Elizabeth Farmer Sylvester and was preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Gail Rash and Rosalie Marie Barrett; her brother Earl Farmer. She was the manager at the Comfort Inn in Atkins, VA for over 10 years and loved crafting and painting.

Survivors include, her husband of 56 years, Earl Duncan; her children, April Gail Duncan of Rural Retreat, VA, Michael Konrad Duncan and wife Tammy of Rural Retreat, VA, Ronald D. Duncan of Vale, NC; brothers, Lloyd R. “Toby” Farmer and wife Marian of Wytheville, VA, Samuel Bernard Farmer and wife Cindy of Wytheville, VA and Daniel Bruce Farmer and wife Sandy of Marion, VA; grandchildren, Justin Lee Loomis, Jessica Lee Chailland, Amanda Michelle Duncan, Cody Michael Duncan, Caley Nicole Duncan, Devin Michael Duncan; five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday December 16, 2018 from the Bradley’s Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to services.

Private interment will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of SWVA, 600 West Ridge Road Wytheville, VA 24382. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.
