DANTE, VIRGINIA – Lois Ann Phillips, 75, died Friday, March 1, 2019 at her son’s house in Castlewood, Virginia. She was born in Dante, Virginia; daughter of the late Albert and Bertie Kiser Counts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyal Phillips; one brother, Carol Counts; and one sister, Mavis Counts.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Counts of Castlewood, Virginia and Jeff Counts of Castlewood, Virginia; two sisters, Virginia Turner and husband, Billy Joe of Clinchco, Virginia and Sue Taylor and husband, Sidney of Dale City, Virginia; three brothers, Wayne Counts of St. Paul, Virginia, James Counts and Chong Ae of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Marvin Counts and wife, Patricia of St. Paul, Virginia; one granddaughter, Nicole White; two grandsons, David Counts and Jonathan Counts; two great grandchildren, Ezekiel Counts and Nevaeh Duty; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Lois Ann Phillips will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Darrell Milgrim officiating.

Interment will follow in Phillips – Kiser Cemetery, Dickenson County, Dante, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Marvin Counts, James Counts, Sidney Taylor, David Counts, Cody White, David Witt, Kendrick Turner, and Lowell Neece.
