Obituary of Loretta Olszewski Loretta P. Olszewski, age 91 of McKean Twp. , passed away at her home on Saturday November 24, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born in McKean Twp.

, on October 27, 1927 a daughter of the late John and Katherine Skupinski Dzeskewicz. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo E. Olszewski in 2012; one son, John Olszewski and eight brothers and sisters. Before starting her family, Loretta was employed with GE Manufacturing.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, gardening and bowling. Living on the family farm, Loretta was always busy with tending the crops or helping to build houses with her husband. She was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by three children, Dan (Kim) Olszewski, Elaine (Larry) Shaffer and Sally (Jim) Silbaugh; seven grandchildren, Diane Olszewski, Kara Olszewski, Heather Silbaugh, Travis Shaffer, David Olszewski, Matthew Silbaugh and Rylee Shaffer; three great-grandchildren, Landon, Katherine and Mila Olszewski; two sisters, Frances Dzeskewicz and Eleanor Fox and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the LECOM Hospice Program for all their care and support. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd.

, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and are invited to a prayer service there on Wednesday morning at 10:15 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
