Louie’s Obituary Louie James Turnquist, age 3 months 26 days, passed away peacefully while sleeping at his residence, in Ashland, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. He was born January 25, 2019 to Robby and Vicki Turnquist, in Ashland. Louie was a precious gift from God and a special joy to many people who loved him.

His chubby cheeks and sweet smiles will be missed. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Justin Hanson and great-grandparents, Daniel and Janice Jolma and Arthur and Tekla Schlecht. He is survived by his parents, Robby and Vicki (Schlecht) Turnquist, of Ashland; brothers, Benji and Luke Turnquist; a sister, Annie Turnquist; grandparents, Keith and Lynn Schlecht, of Battle Ground, WA, James and Susan Turnquist, of Ashland; great-grandparents, Alvin and Claire Turnquist, of Ahmeek, MI and Daniel and Doris Lee, of Battle Ground, WA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many Christian friends.

Through baptism, Louie was taken into God’s covenant of grace and became a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, of Marengo. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, in Marengo, with Randy Blakeman and Jeff Jolma officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2019 and continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.

Interment will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery, in Highbridge. Arrangements are by the Roberts Funeral Home, of Ashland.
