Louis’ Obituary Louis Eldon Moore, Jr., 69, of Robards, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He had worked as a car salesman most of his working career.

Louis was a renowned drag racer and won numerous races throughout his lifetime. He was a devoted husband, father, papaw, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Eldon Moore, Sr., and Margaret Evelyn Eblen Moore.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Pat; one daughter, Stacy Powell and her husband, Chris, of Henderson, Kentucky; one son, Daniel Moore of Robards, Kentucky; three stepsons, Jason Springer and his wife, Athena, of Overland Park, Kansas, Jeff Springer and his wife, Jennifer, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Michael Springer and his wife, Kristin, of Boston, Massachusetts; three sisters, Sandy Long of Evansville, Indiana, Gayle Moore of Henderson, Kentucky, and Laura Woods of Newton, Illinois; one brother, David Moore of Henderson, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Shelby Powell, Sarah Powell, James Springer, Ian Springer, Alexander Springer, and Angeline Springer; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Reverend James Wofford and the Reverend Cindy Green will officiate.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.
