Louise G. Vance, 88, of Owensboro, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Scottsville, KY at her home. She was born on February 25, 1930 in Hancock County to the late Garland and Audrey Brown Glover. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church for many years.

Louise loved music and could play any instrument her favorite being the piano. She was always giving and helping those less fortunate and was a faithful supporter of Children’s Miracle Hospitals. But most importantly, she was a loving mother and nana.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert F. Vance. Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Helton, Gail (Chuck) Bennett of Scottsville, KY and Amy Helton Hildebrandt of Owensboro; four grandchildren, Blake Rhoades, Taylor Bennett, Morgan Hildebrandt and Camrin Bennett; and two sisters, Betty Rush and Mary Ann Simpson. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory.

Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 12 to 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, 2200 Children’s Way, Nashville, TN.
