Obituary for Mr Henry Louis Schwartz Henry Louis “Dude” Schwartz, 81, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at his residence, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Daviess County on December 7, 1936 to Mrs. Helen Mackey Schwartz and the late Henry A. Schwartz. Henry was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church.

Henry served with distinction in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Intrepid during the Vietnam era. Henry received the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Vietnam Medal with Bronze Star. Along with his father, Henry was preceded in death by his brother Joseph A. Schwartz.

Along with his mother, Henry is survived by his siblings Dorothy J. Lanham, Mike K. (Janet) Schwartz, Thomas R. (Sharleen) Schwartz, and Sharon K. Kulka, all of Owensboro. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at Precious Blood Catholic Church, with Father Suneesh Mathew officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Church.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Precious Blood Catholic Church or Hospice of Western Kentucky.
