Lucille Doris Hardy, 84 of Jeromesville died Sunday July 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born June 27, 1934 in Ashland the daughter of Adair and Dorothy Bardon Eagle. She was a 1952 graduate of Jeromesville High School and was a cook for 26 years at Hillsdale Middle School.

Lucy was a member of the Jeromesville United Methodist Church, where she very active as a Sunday School teacher, helping with the fair tent and candy making. She is survived by her husband, Earl Hardy, to whom she was married January 23, 1954, three daughters, Tootie (Bill) Garn, Pam (Pat) Couch and Susie Hardy, all of Jeromesville, 2 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and a brother, Ron (Cheryl) Eagle of Jeromesville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ellen Jones.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday July 6, 2018 at the Jeromesville United Methodist Church with Pastors Sue Chidley and Dan Minor officiating. Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday July 5, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville.
