Obituary for Lucille E. “Lucy” Redford Lucille E. “Lucy” Redford, age 91 of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. She was born January 24, 1927, in Nashville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Wilson Woodworth & the late Helen (Scronce) Tielemann. Lucy owned and operated the Mont De Claire Beauty Shoppe in Edwardsville, for 34 years.

She married Olin R. Redford on April 1, 1945, in Marine, Illinois, he preceded her in death on February 11, 2006. Lucy is survived by her daughter, Linda S. Poos of Edwardsville; two grandchildren, Stacy Campbell & husband Mark of Edwardsville, Chase Madison of Fort Sam Houston, Texas; & two great grandchildren, Brady & Jackson Campbell. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Terri Powers, one brother, Wilson Andrew Woodworth & one sister, Frances Woodworth.

Lucy was a member of the Eden Church in Edwardsville, the Eden Church Women’s Guild, Women of The Moose, where she served as Senior Region and was a past member and officer of the Montclaire Merchants Association. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the funeral home with Rev.

John Robert officiating. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville. The family request memorials to the Main Street Community Center or the American Heart Association.
