Maggie E. Jeffreys, 97, went home to be with her Lord May 24, 2018. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Tuesday May 29, 2018 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Oak Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery.

A native of Stokes County, Maggie was the daughter of the late Hester Mabe and William Lawson. She was married to the late William Grady Jeffreys, and also preceded in death by her son Robert Lee Jeffreys, sister Mozelle Mills, and brother Billy Lawson. Maggie retired from Adams-Millis and enjoyed her gardening and family throughout her remaining years.

She was a member of Sunlight Baptist Church in Kernersville. Survivors include her children Shirley Dobbins and Kenneth of Reidsville, Grady W. Jeffreys and Eleanor of Summerfield, Betty Gaydon of Reidsville, Newman Jeffreys of Greensboro, and Martha Inman of Stoneville; twenty grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends Monday afternoon from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at the funeral home.
