He passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Albuquerque, surrounded by his loving family. Manuel honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for 23 years, as a Supply Clerk, retiring in 1975.

He then worked for many years at the McGregor Range. Manuel served as an Elder for the World Wide Church of God and was an active Christian. As well, he loved spending time with his treasured family and enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboy Football games.

Manuel was preceded in death by his loving wife, Teresa Armendariz and by his daughter, Frances Weddle. He is survived by four children, Manny Jr., of Rio Rancho, Anita Harmon and husband Phil of Albuquerque, Robert Armendariz of Phoenix and Gloria Chavez of Rio Rancho; ten siblings, Eva, Francisco Jr., Felo, Irene, Mela, Martha, Richie, Maggie, Lucy and Freddy; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of Christ Rio Rancho, 1006 22nd St SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 am with United States Air Force Honors.
