Marcelline’s Obituary Marcelline Joy Frostman, age 86, of Washburn, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Memorial Medical Center, in Ashland. She was born March 26, 1932, in Washburn, the daughter of Albert and Ethel (Waynert) Cousineau. She attended Washburn schools.

On November 12, 1949, she married James Frostman, in Bayfield. For many years, she was a self-employed seamstress. Marcelline and her husband repaired sailboat sails and fabricated boat covers.

She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church, in Bayfield. Marcelline enjoyed sewing, knitting, Christmas baking, and making fudge. When she made her raspberry jam, it never was around for very long.

She is survived by six children, Carolyn (Karl) Kanneberg, Ashland, Janis (Steve) Kacvinsky, Ashland, Jimmy “Frosty” Frostman, Bessemer, MI, Connie (Randy) Marcy, Grand Lake, CO, Billy (Elaine) Frostman, Worcestershire, England, and Eric (Laura) Frostman, Superior; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine (John) Ferguson, Green Valley, AZ; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; a daughter, Karen O’Neil; two grandchildren, Matthew Halvorson and Trevor O’Neil; and a brother, Albert. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Bethesda Lutheran Church, in Bayfield, with Mary Meierotto S.A.M. officiating.

Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, in Bayfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Arrangements are by the Bratley Funeral Home, in Washburn.
