Obituary for Margaret Beatrice Lovelace Wallace Margaret Beatrice Lovelace Wallace, 91, of 2856 Westover Dr., Danville, VA, died on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her residence after a decline in health for the past three months. Mrs. Wallace was born in Pelham, NC, on September 6, 1927, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Lovelace and the late Ossie Lillie Loftis Lovelace. She lived most of her life in Pelham, NC and Danville, VA, where she worked as a nurse for Roman Eagle Rehab and Healthcare Center for twenty-seven and a half years.

She was a member of River Oak Church of God and also visited First Church of the Living God. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren. On April 28, 1946, she married, Donald Lewis Wallace, who died on January 19, 1999.

Survivors include a son, Donald Dale Wallace and wife Karen, of Pelham, NC; a daughter, Brenda W. Erickson, of Providence, NC; a sister, Lillie Davis, of New Bern, NC; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Marion Thomas and Mary Burchett. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with Pastor Michael Leath and Pastor Jackie Poe officiating.

Interment will follow the service in Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and at other times will be at the residence. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to God’s Pit Crew, 2499 North Main St., Danville, VA, 24540.
