Obituary for Walter Ray McDaniel Jr. “Walter” Ray McDaniel, Jr. 62, of Thomasville NC departed this life on Monday, November 19, 2018 at his residence after being in declining health for several years. He was born in Chateaurux France on May 1, 1956 and was the son of Walter “Ray” McDaniel Sr. and the late Ella Mae Sigmon McDaniel. Walter lived in Pelham and Charlotte NC area for most of his life and worked for several trucking firms as a truck driver.

He was of the Protestant faith Survivors include his father; Walter “Ray” McDaniel Sr. and step-mother Betty Hale McDaniel, two sisters Teressa Owens (Robert) and Kathryn Flowe (George) both of Charlotte NC and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. McDaniel may be conducted at a later date. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is respectfully serving the McDaniel Family.
