Margaret M. Rogers, age 76, of Janesville, died Friday, June 29, 2018, at Rainbow Hospice Care Center in Johnson Creek, WI. She was born on June 20, 1942 in Janesville, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Liptow) Wiskie. Margaret married Eugene Rogers on July 19, 1960.

She had been employed at Lee’s Steakhouse and more recently at the Wisconsin School for the Visually Handicapped, retiring in 2008. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Michelle (David) Rechlin of Jefferson; son, Brian (Sarah) Rogers of Janesville; grandchildren: Karlie Rechlin, Ali Rechlin, Austin Rogers and Abbie Rogers; step grandchildren: Coryn Buzzo, Tanner Buzzo and Madelynn Buzzo; siblings: Patricia (Wayne) Marko of Janesville, Carol (Robert) Schwengels of Janesville, Theresa Robinson of Blanchardville, Mary Jo (Bill) Hirst of Janesville and Janice (Curtis) Fry of Beloit; Special friend, Darrell “Rip” Avery; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband; and siblings: Joanne Presti, Bonnie Rindfleisch, Linda Kirchner, David Wiskie, William Wiskie and Richard Wiskie.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Janesville. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will be in the Mt.

Olivet Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and the Rainbow Hospice of Johnson Creek for their kind and companionate care of Margaret.
