JANESVILLE—Vicky Marie Hayter, age 59, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a 12 year battle with brain cancer on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. She was born in Janesville on April 25, 1959, the daughter of Bernard and Beverly Fields. She had a passion for people and a devoted nursing career up until her diagnosis in 2005.

Vicky is survived by her 3 children: James (Shyla) Jones of Mt. Horeb, Danielle Hayter of Wanamingo, MN, and Kaylyn (fiancé Chris Ebnet) Hayter of Mantorville, MN; 4 grandchildren: Lincoln, Nathan, Evan, and Aria; parents; brother, Gary (Susan) Fields of Rockton, IL; sister, Carla (Gary) Nelson of Brodhead; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Fields of Ft.

Wayne, IN, who passed away May 31, 2018, after a 20 year battle with brain cancer, they are now together. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., noon, on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating.

Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
