JANESVILLE—Helen E. Warren, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Madison. She was born in Wisconsin on August 14, 1938, the daughter of George Sr. and Lois (Baker) Dampier. She worked at Parker Pen and owned Hollywood Drive in.

Helen will be remembered as a woman who had a passion for life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, celebrating birthdays, holidays, shopping with the girls or just playing cards. Helen enjoyed reading and relaxing in her beautiful backyard where she spent many enjoyable hours.

Some of her favorite times were traveling with her daughter and trips to the casino with her son. Her love of the Brewers was well known and there was no visiting during games or you would be ignored. Helen always had a smile on her face…which we will dearly miss.

Helen is survived by her children, Darla (Alexander) Luby and Donald (Julie) Kline; grandchildren: Andrew (Alisha) Luby, Elena (Joel) Wakefield, Roxana Luby, Cristian Luby, Anthony (Diana Thompson) Luby, Jason (Brett) Kline, Jennifer (Jeff) Seele, Robin (Edward) McNamer, and Susan (Ben Miller) Burnside; great grandchildren: Logan L., Gabriel, Jacob, baby boy on the way, Brayden, Ethan, Logan K., Lexi, Austin, Carley, Gavin, and Gracelyn; brother, Eugene (Nancy) Dampier; and her beloved cat “Pookie”. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Kline on August 17, 1993 and James Warren on September 29, 2013; brother, George Dampier, Jr.; and Sister, Lois Fischer. At Helen’s request, there will be no formal funeral.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 2015 Kellogg Avenue. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
