Obituary of Marguerite Sevigny Marguerite Ramona Tardif Sevigny, 87, died June 22, 2018 in Lexington, KY. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Sevigny and her brother Raymond Tardif. Marguerite was born April 17, 1931, the daughter of Dominique Tardif and Rhea Mercure Tardif of Holyoke, MA where she graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield, MA.

Marguerite married the love of her life, George Dores Sevigny. They celebrated their 62nd anniversary on June 9, 2018. George and Marguerite settled in Red Hook, NY where they lived for 59 years.

Marguerite was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed her life as a homemaker and devoted extra time to community and church volunteer activities. In addition to George, three of her children and their spouses survives her: Denise Sevigny (Peter) of Wappingers Falls, NY, Michel Considine (Michael) of Merritt Island, FL, David Sevigny (Paula) of Lexington, KY; eight grandchildren; and her brother Richard Tardif of Somers, CT.

Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Friday, June 29th , 2018 from 4 to 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Christopher’s Church, Red Hook, NY. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hook.

Memorial donations may be made in Marguerite’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater KY and Southern Indiana, 6100 Dutchman’s Lane, Louisville, KY 40205.
