Marianne VanDam, 77, of Moline, passed away Thursday September 27, 2018 at her son’s home. A memorial service will be 11am Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be 9am to service time.

Memorials may be left to the family. Marianne was born on October 3, 1940 in St Louis, Missouri, the daughter of William and Thelma (Riley) Antoniou. She had been employed an administrative assistant with St. Ambrose College, Davenport and later with the State of Arizona.

Marianne was a member of Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, Moline. She loved cooking, baking, sewing and ceramics. Survivors include her children, Brian Miller (Paula Bird), Moline, Rebecca and William Hall, Coal Valley, Elizabeth and David Powell, Moline; grandchildren, Aaron (Andrea) Miller, Charles Hall, Valarie Hall, Layne Johnson, Andrew Kalinauskas and Kayla Kalinauskas; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Anita Antoniou and Josephine Barbarick; and one brother, Anthony Antoniou.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Jake Riley, Marvin Riley and Billy Riley.
