Obituary for Marilyn T. McGranahan Marilyn Therese McGranahan, age 81, of Maryville, Illinois, formerly of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born January 4, 1937, in Norwalk, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Nicholas & Jenny (Arena) Zeoli. Marilyn worked as an executive secretary for the Richardson Merrill Corporation in Manhattan, New York, in her younger years.

She married Thomas Eugene McGranahan June 19, 1969 in Mobile, Alabama, he survives. Marilyn is also survived by a son Mark E. McGranahan & wife Robin of Glen Carbon, Illinois; a daughter, Rita M. Schuman & husband Kevin of Kirkwood, Missouri; six beautiful grandchildren; and her brother, Peter Zeoli & wife Jean of Norwalk, Connecticut. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, Illinois.

Marilyn was very active at St. Mark Parish and at St. Joseph High School in Kenosha where she worked for a time. She later worked for Dr. John Capelli at his practice. But she would say her true vocation was dedicating her life to creating a joyful, loving home for her husband, children and grandchildren.

She donated her body to the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis. A memorial visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Mother of Perpetual Help in Maryville. The memorial mass will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev.

Joseph Havrilka, KHS officiating. The family request memorials to Father McGivney Catholic High School in Glen Carbon, Illinois. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
