Obituary for Viola Margret Langenwalter Viola Margret Langenwalter, of Holiday Shores, Edwardsville, IL, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 81, on Monday, November 19, 2018. Viola was born December 3, 1936 in Pocahontas, IL, the daughter of late August and Clara (Kalmer) Korte. On November 9, 1963, she married Dale Langenwalter.

Dale preceded Viola in death on January 29, 2017. Viola is survived by her three daughters: Cheryl A. (Mojtaba “Moji”) Mirahmadi of Laguna Hills, CA, Kim M. (Craig) Bryans of Acworth, GA, and Jean M. (Jeff) Mauro of Oceanport, NJ; eight grandchildren: Sarah Mirahmadi, Maryam Mirahmadi, Hanah Mirahmadi and Diana Mirahmadi all of Laguna Hills, CA; Amanda M. Bryans and James R. Bryans, both of Acworth, GA; and Joshua “Josh” Carter and Samantha J. “Sam” Carter, both of Summit, NJ; her siblings: two sisters; Sister Clare Korte of Milwaukee, WI and Sister Joan Korte of Aurora, IL, and two brothers: Cyril “Cy” (Barb) Korte of Reno, NV and Donny “Don” (Mary Kay) Korte of Bowling Green, KY and two sisters-n-law: Irma Korte of Highland, IL and Marilyn Korte of Highland, IL; and a brother-in-law, Patrick “Pat” Sheridan of Loveland, CO. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sister Verena Korte of Milwaukee, WI and Adele “Dell” Sheridan of Loveland Colorado, and three brothers, Herbert “Herb” Korte of Highland, IL, Jim Korte of Highland, IL, and Maurice (MaryAnne) Korte of Highland, IL.

Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. The funeral mass will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, IL, with the Very Rev. Jeffrey H. Goeckner officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Boniface cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Viola Margret Langenwalter please visit our Sympathy Store.
