Marjorie’s Obituary Marjorie Lee (Schieffer) Fry, 80, of Troy, Missouri passed away peacefully on February 19, 2019, at her home. She was born in Troy to John and Ida Belle (Lester) Schieffer on November 5, 1938. Marjorie attended local schools and graduated from Troy Buchanan High School in May 1956.

She met the love of her life at an American Legion dance. Marjorie picked Tom Fry to be her dance partner for life and they were married on June 23, 1956. Marjorie worked at H.W. Gossard’s and various local businesses throughout the years, the longest being Rexall/Lincoln County Pharmacy.

Marjorie enjoyed working in the yard and in her flowers and took great pride in the results. She enjoyed doing crafts and making gifts for family and friends. She and Tom went to many dances over the years, enjoying the dancing, music and friends.

Marjorie enjoyed trail riding and traveling with Tom and the horses to parks in Missouri and Illinois and at Eminence, Missouri twice a year. She also enjoyed reading a good cowboy romance, watching The Virginian and Hallmark movies. Her favorite thing was seeing her five great grandchildren.

They never failed to put a smile on her face, and she would continue to talk about them after each visit. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, Tom, an infant son, Earl Eugene, a sister Mary Lou Jones, brothers-in-law Gale Jones and Stanley Martinek. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Mark) Worsley and Sandy Drullinger, grandchildren Charley Worsley, Leann (Jason) Rhodes and Courtney (Korey) Sheets, great grandchildren Lilly Worsley, Karlie and Konner Rhodes and Abbey and Kensley Sheets, sister Verla Mae Martinek and brother Tommy (Janelle) Schieffer as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244, on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Private inurnment will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buddy Bags or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home and Crematorium, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO 63379.
