Mark’s Obituary FORT EDWARD — Mark David Fisher, 48, passed away suddenly Friday, February 1, 2019 at his home. Born April 11, 1970 in Glens Falls, he was the son of David and Phyllis Fisher. He graduated from Fort Ann Central School, Class of 1989, then worked in the family Agway business until he attended truck driving school.

Mark drove tractor trailer truck for 28 years. In recent years, he bought and designed his first new truck, and started his own trucking business. Mark loved his job, collecting toy trucks, tractor pulls, working in his yard and hosting family gatherings.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Janis and David Fisher, and maternal grandfather, Philip Clark. Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Laura (McDonald) Fisher; daughter, Markaela May Fisher; son, Charles French (Jennifer); granddaughter, Alexus French; his parents, David and Phyllis Fisher; maternal grandmother, Doris Sutherland; brother, Scott Fisher; niece, Emily Fisher and nephew, Cory Fisher; also several cousins, extended family members and friends. Calling hours will take place Thursday, February 7, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Flossie Gage-Bates officiating. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Fort Edward Rescue Squad and Washington County Sheriff’s Department for their kind and caring treatment of Mark and his family.
