Mr. Mark A. Hollinshead, 49, of Zullinger, PA passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in his home. Born October 21, 1969 in Hagerstown, MD he was the son of Charles K. “Charlie” and Martha L. (Shumaker) Hollinshead of Waynesboro, PA. He was a graduate of the Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1988.

Mark served in the United States Army and later with the United States Army National Guard. He was honorably discharged June 29, 1996 after more than 8 years of combined service. In his early life, he enjoyed being DJ Mark Foster for WAYZ, Waynesboro.

He was currently working at the Staples Distribution Center, Hagerstown, MD, where he had been employed for the past 15 years. Mark was a member of Waynesboro Fish and Game and enjoyed going to the gun range and metal detecting. In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother, Michael K. Hollinshead of Waynesboro; two nephews, Matthew Hollinshead and Wesley Hollinshead; and two nieces, Carly Hollinshead and Allyson Hollinshead.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Street, Waynesboro, PA with Pastor Darell Gentry officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Tuesday morning, in the funeral home.
