Marsha’s Obituary Marsha Harris Jarrels, 61, of Harrisonburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Sentara RMH Medical Center, in Harrisonburg surrounded by her family. Mrs. Jarrels was born April 18, 1957, in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of Betty Maye Williams Harris and the late Hunter Benjamin Harris. On April 14, 1979, she married Donald “Donnie” Wayne Jarrels who survives.

Also surviving are sons, Trevor Jarrels and Travis Jarrels and wife, Jackie; sisters, Sharyn Martin and husband, R.W. and Brenda Johnson and husband, Wayne; brother, Benny Harris and wife, Jennifer; precious granddaughters, Allison and Andie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marsha was a graduate of Montevideo High School in 1975. On April 1, 1991, she started her employment with the Federal Bankruptcy Court, retiring October 21, 2017.

She previously worked as a secretary for Distributive Education and Dominion Bank. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her sons, but most of all she enjoyed spoiling her grandbabies. Per her wishes all services will be private.
