Obituary for Martha Piesik (Slonska) Martha J. (Slonska) Piesik, 89, of North Huntingdon died Monday June 18, 2018 at the Transitions HealthCare, North Huntingdon. She was born September 30, 1928 a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary(Penar) Slonska. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a teller for the 1st National Bank of Circleville.
She was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church, in North Huntingdon and its Christian Mothers. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Piesik, eight brothers and sisters including Walter Slonska, Josephine “Jay” Kukurine, Angela “Nellie” Zivkovic and Helen Kwolkoski. Surviving are two children Bernard E. Piesik and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Irwin, Kathy P. DiDonato and her husband, David, of North Huntingdon; two grandchildren Jaime Springel and her husband, Rick, of Latrobe and Kathryn Rossetti and her husband, Rob, of North Huntingdon; four great grandchildren Monica, Laynie, Alyssa, Robbie and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the St. Agnes Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery and Mausoleum North Versailles.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Agnes Catholic Church 11400 St. Agnes Lane, North Huntingdon PA 15642.
