Martha L. Norenberg 85, Appleton, formerly of Adel, Iowa passed away peacefully on November 1, 2018 at Brewster Village. She was born on Oct. 23, 1933 in Iowa to the late E.J. and Amy (Saunders) Hesselschwerdt.

Martha was a lifelong teacher in Iowa and spent the last four years in Appleton to be with her daughter Laura and her family. She enjoyed spending time with and going to her grandsons’ events. Martha was an avid sports fan, especially a Hawkeye fan and the Packers.

She will be greatly missed by her sons: Dani (Uta) Norenberg of Germany and their children: Noah and Leah; Jon (Miriam) Norenberg of CA and their children: Tommy, Annie and Amy; her daughter Laura (Alan) August of Greenville, WI and their children: Nick, Gabe and Caleb and a sister Treva from Texas. Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
