Martha S. Shutt, 77, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in her home. Born July 11, 1940 in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, she was a daughter of the late Roy M. and Mary E. (Rhoads) Hetrick and was also preceded in death by a sister Elva Laudermilch. Retired from H. B. Reese Candy Company, she was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, East Hanover Historical Society, a social member of Shellsville V. F. W. #9639, and delivered Meals on Wheels.

She was an avid country and gospel music fan. Surviving are her husband of 60 years Thomas J. Shutt; children Bruce T., husband of Debra Shutt, Brian T., husband of Cindy Shutt, Bradley T., husband of Barbara Shutt and Brenda L., wife of Timothy Shatto; siblings Janet Pankake, William Hetrick and Vera Horst; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Faith United Church of Christ, 117 North Faith Road, Grantville, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be in Grantville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
