MARY AGNES GAMACHE March 29, 1926 – January 25, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card WEST SPRINGFIELD – Mary Agnes (Tatro) Gamache, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019. Mary was born in Chicopee on March 29, 1926, the daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Borucinski) Tatro. She also resided in Springfield and most recently lived with her son in West Springfield.

During her high school years, she went to work at the Sickles Plant in Chicopee to support the war effort during World War II and in her later years worked at All Soul’s Rectory in Springfield. Her husband, Roland Gamache predeceased her in 1974 as did her brother, Joseph D. Tatro in 2011. Mary is survived by four children, Jean M. Manning and her husband John of Westfield, Leonard H. Gamache of Chicopee, Gary A. Gamache and his wife Suzanne of West Springfield, Lorraine A. Thibault and her husband Stephen of Ashfield, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Monday January 28, 2019 from 4 to 7pm at Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield Street, Chicopee. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 12 noon at St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine St., West Springfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
