(Caya) Dube, 99, died in the comfort of her home on Monday, February18, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Born in Biddeford, ME on October 28, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Polycarpe and Imelda (Cote) Caya. Growing up in Maine, Lucille worked as a waitress and enjoyed music, dancing, and spending time at Old Orchard Beach.

In addition to her parents, Lucille was predeceased by her brothers Adrien and Armand, as well as her sister Loraine. She is also predeceased by her first husband, Clifton J. Jordan in 1954 and by her second husband, Robert J. Dube in 1995. Lucille loved entertaining family and friends (she always had a house-full), crafting, traveling, and collectables.

After raising her family of 9 children in Holyoke, Lucille spent the last 30 years as a resident of Chicopee. She is survived by her 9 children, Sandra Jordan (Thomas Reilly), Leslie Jordan (Donna Fontaine), Linda Jordan, Barbara Jordan, Diane Dawson, Sally Jordan-Bivins (John Christian), Richard Dube (Maxine), Eugene Dube (Danielle), and Anthony “Jeff” Dube (Tammy), 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and several brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services for Lucille will be held on Saturday February 23, 2018, beginning at the Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee at 10am, with the Funeral Mass in Holy Name Parish Church, 94 Springfield St., Chicopee at 11.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 – 7pm at Corridan Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Baystate VNA/Hospice, 50 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01102.
