Jane A. (Martysik) Nowicki, 101, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Holyoke Healthcare Center, with her loving family at her side. Born October 9, 1917, daughter of the late John and Anna (Stefanik) Martysik, she was a lifelong Chicopee resident. Jane was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Bishop & Martyr, and a member of its Rosary Society.

She retired after twenty years of service from Titeflex Manufacturing. Jane was an excellent cook and enjoyed being a part of the bowling league at Titeflex. Jane was predeceased in 1996 by her beloved husband, John M. Nowicki, and in 2003 by her daughter, Michaeline A. Plumadore.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Janet M. Kopacz of Easthampton; cherished grandsons, Jeffrey Kopacz and wife Stephanie Murphy of Arlington, MA, and Kristopher Kopacz and partner Vivian Sung of Cumberland, RI; and great-grandchildren, Emmalyne, Jacob, Elijah, Lindsay, Nathanial, Anderson and Trevor Kopacz. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Leon Kopacz, sisters, Jean Juras and Marian Padykula, and brothers, Edward and Stephen Martysik. Funeral services for Jane will be held Thursday from Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Stanislaus Basilica.

Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. A calling hour will precede Mass from 9- 9:45AM.
