Obituary for Mary E. (Vaughn) Broyles Mary E. Vaughn Broyles, age 94, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care. A native of Bristol, VA, Mary is a daughter of the late Ray and Bossy Vaughn. She is a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, where she served as the Treasurer and a member of the Administrative Council.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. “Buck” Broyles, and one brother, John Vaughn. Mary E. Vaughn Broyles has left behind to cherish her memory: Sons: Lee Broyles and wife, Wendy, Alan Broyles and wife, Carol; Grandchildren: Kristin Ingram and husband, Jason, Steven Broyles and wife, Glenna, Michelle Broyles; Great grandchild: Charles Abel Broyles; Step-great grandchild: Michael Lane Sparks. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Mary E. Vaughn Broyles in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, July 20, 2018 Centenary United Methodist Church.

Reverend Kim Isley will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until the hour of service on Friday. A committal service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Monte Vista Memorial Park.
