Mary Lena Kirk Williamson, 69, of Huron Street, Kannapolis, NC, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019, at Atrium Healthcare-Northeast. She was born June 6, 1949 in Cabarrus County to the late Herbert Kirk and the late Lena Parks Kirk. Mary was educated in the Cabarrus County School System and was a graduate of Durham Business College.

She was formerly employed with the State of Massachusetts and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Services will be held Wednesday, February 13, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 5835 Charlie Walker Rd, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM with funeral services at 3:00 PM.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, James T. Kirk. Those left to cherish fond memories include her husband, Charles N. Williamson of Clarendon, Jamaica; a son, Mario L. Kirk (Tanya) of Mooresville; one grandchild, Dallas Kirk of Mooresville; two aunts, Mildred Park of Atlantic City, NJ and Jennie K. Pharr of Concord and a host of cousins and friends.
