Mary’s Obituary Mary M. White, 77, of Granite City, IL died on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL. She was born on December 31, 1941 in Olney, IL to Ray and Ann nee: Miller Ensor. Mary married John White and he preceded her in death in 2008.

The loving mother and grandmother was a homemaker who enjoyed riding her bicycle, shopping at Wal-Mart, watching Wheel of Fortune, The Price is Right and comedy shows. She also enjoyed riding around in the car and liked the music of Elvis Presley. Mary is survived by 3 daughters: Melinda (Stephen) Rains of Granite City, IL, Becky Wagenknecht of Sanford, FL and Marti White of Granite City, IL; 3 sons: Shannon (Jenny) White of Granite City, IL, Lester White and fiancé, Kim Speece of Granite City, IL and Erron (Renee) White of Granite City, IL; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother, Gary (Cindy) Ensor of Dupo, IL and 3 sisters: Katherine (Lester) West of Quincy, IL, Georgia (Charlie) Sattgast Harris of New Berlin, IL and Susie (Don) Mangiaracino of Fontana, CA and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Mary is preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church’s Friendship Room in Granite City, IL.
