Obituary of Mary Beck Mary A. Beck, 80, Marion, passed away at Rolling Meadows Health Care in LaFontaine at 10:40 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018. She was born in Mier on January 11, 1938, to the late Wilbur and Goldie (Irwin) Pattison. On August 26, 1956, Mary married Jerry Beck, and he survives.

Mary worked in the swimming pool business of Beck Enterprises, Inc., for 52 years. She attended Healing Hearts Church of God in Marion and, when in Naples, Florida, attended Church of God. Mary enjoyed traveling, shopping, and Indy cars.

She especially loved going to the beach. Mary was also known for how much she loved shoes. She was a very caring individual who served beyond the walls of her home.

Her heart of caring led her to help with the children at Vernon Manor in Wabash. She was very close to both the children and staff there. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 62 years, Jerry; son, Tony L. Beck, Marion; daughter, Teresa L. Beck, Marion; grandchildren, Jeremy Beck, Corey Beck, Dale (Tiffany) Beck, and Staci Fox; great-grandchildren, Maci Crader, Taylor Crader, Hunter Dale, Josiah Beck, Kaylee Beck, and Brantley Beck; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by all of her ten siblings, as well as her infant son, Larry Allen Beck. The family will receive visitors from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN.

Services to celebrate Mary’s life will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor Delbert Fenwick officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Online condolences may be made at www.
