Mary Ann Harris Perkins, 87, of Parkersburg passed away September 29, 2018 at The Willows, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 14, 1931 near Spencer, WV, the daughter of the late Charles and Etta Sherry Harris. Mary graduated from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1949.

Mary was proud to have been a homemaker and of having raised three daughters and son. She attended the Broadway Church of the Nazarane where she volunteered in the nursery for more than forty-five years. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.

She will be greatly missed by her four children, Peggy Vidmar, Julie Perkins, both of Parkersburg, Bonnie Talbott (Don), of Williamstown and Bill Perkins of Parkersburg, grandchildren Terrance Vidmar (Carrie), Anthony Vidmar (Robin) of Columbus, Christopher Perkins (Jessica), Billy Perkins (Felria Love), Heather Perkins (Harold Lash III) of Parkersburg, Lori Talbott of Sydeny, OH, Ashlee Talbott of Williamstown, Natasha Talbott of Williamstown, thirteen great grandchildren with another on the way, two great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many that she had babysat for that called her “Mom” or “Grandma”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years Calvin Denver Perkins, one infant son, three sisters Eloise Freshour, Maxine Freshour, Thelma “Myrt” Jenkins, two brothers Hoyt and Mark Harris, daughter in law Barbara Perkins.
