Danny Lee Gandee, 70, of Belpre passed away unexpectedly November 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born on February 22, 1948 in Ripley, WV, the son of the late Everett Foley and Betty June Weekley Gandee. Danny proudly served his country in the US Air Force in Vietnam.

He retired from Shell Chemical – Krayton Polymers after thirty-six years of service. He was an active member of Porterfield Baptist Church for forty-five years. Danny is survived by his wife of forty-seven years Carol Sue Wolfe Gandee, son Jason Gandee (Kim) of Vincent, daughter Jodi Kinasewitz (Matt) of Mason, Ohio, eight grandchildren Bryce, Brett, Evan, Carson Gandee, Anna, Jack, Abigail, Maggie Kinasewitz, siblings Cheryl Sandy, Steve Gandee, Tom Gandee (Sherry), Connie Kay, Debbie Stover, Dave Gandee (Dee), Rick Gandee, adopted brother Scott Woodall, several nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Bernice Harden, brothers in law Larry Wolfe (Judy), Raymond Wolfe (Charlotte), sisters-in-law Connie Alexander, Shirley Chambers (Dick) and brother-in-law Mike Wolfe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; Bill, Timmy and Jimmy Gandee. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 15, 2018, 11:00 am at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Mark Eaton, officiating. Full military rites will be provided by American Legion Post #15.

A private committal service will be Thursday afternoon at Independence Cemetery in Jackson County, WV. Visitation will be 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 Wednesday and for one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
